The Aryashataka is the first section of the celebrated Mookapanchashati, a collection of 500 verses glorifying the divine beauty and majesty of Goddess Kamakshi. It was composed by the revered Muka Shankarendra Saraswati, also known as Muka Kavi. According to tradition he was born without the ability to hear or speak, but by the grace of Goddess Kamakshi he miraculously gained the gift of speech and blossomed into a great poet.
The Aryashataka, comprising the first one hundred verses, extols the supreme glory and compassionate grace of Goddess Kamakshi. Each verse shines with devotion, poetic beauty, and spiritual depth, guiding the devotee closer to the Divine Mother.
This e-book presents the original text in Devanagari and IAST, with simple English meaning, reader-friendly and ease of chanting.
