The Ashtadhyayi of Panini, consisting of eight chapters and more than 3900 sutra-s, is the foundational text of Vyakarana Shastra. This e-book is based on the second chapter, which introduces learners to the art of deriving the meaning, purpose, and application of sutra-s directly without depending on any commentary. The second adhyaya focuses primarily on two pivotal areas of grammar: the rules of Vibhakti (case) usage and the Principles of Samasa (compound word) formation.
