Sri Hayagriva Stotram is considered to be the first devotional stotra composed by Sri Vedanta Deshika in praise of Sri Hayagriva Murty of Bhagavan Narayana. It was composed spontaneously by Svami Deshika when he had the vision of Sri Hayagriva. In this reverential tribute, Svami Deshika extols Sri Hayagriva, the embodiment of knowledge and bliss. Consisting of 33 verses, it is written in six different metres.
