Yadavabhyudaya is a magnum opus of Sri Vedanta Desika, the revered 13th-century Srivaishnava Acharya of South India. This Sanskrit mahakavya, composed in 24 sarga-s and over 2,500 verses, celebrates the divine life of Bhagavan Sri Krishna and the illustrious Yadava lineage.
The first sarga, consisting of 100 verses, lays the foundation of the epic by introducing the Yaduvamsha and narrating the plea of the Deva-s that led to Bhagavan Narayanaโs incarnation in the womb of Devaki.
