This series presents lectures on the Neetishataka, a renowned didactic work in Sanskrit composed by the eminent linguist-philosopher Bhartrhari. Widely celebrated for its timeless wisdom, the Neetishataka is one of the most frequently quoted texts in Sanskrit literature—even among those with only a basic knowledge of the language.
This series features verses from all ten paddhati-s (seasons), ranging from the Moorkha paddhati to the Karma paddhati, with each season containing approximately 10 to 12 shloka-s. Every verse is thoroughly explained, including word segmentation, word-by-word meaning, prose order (anvaya), and key grammatical notes in Sanskrit. Additionally, a clear bhavartha (interpretative meaning) is provided in both Sanskrit and English.
